Kids’ Classes
We love your kids at Aerial Space! Our Kids’ Program has grown every year since 2017 and we’re proud of the amazing work our awesome kids’ instructors do every week.
We offer kids' classes for ages 6-12 in aerial silks, sling and lyra. Students spin, hang, climb and play while learning basic aerial skills. Focused training helps students release their creativity, build body awareness, and improve self confidence. All classes are taught over high density gymnastic mats with an emphasis on safety and proper technique. Classes are limited to 6 students maximum for more individualized instruction and each student on their own apparatus.

How It Works
Sign-ups begin a month before the semester starts. Parents can sign their kids up either for a drop-in spot or via the Semester Program. Most spots get filled through the Semester Program, so we HIGHLY recommend signing up if you want consistent spots. To make an account, head to our First Time page and create an account for your child (NOT yourself!).
The Semester Program auto-bills and auto-enrolls your child for each month of the semester, all for just $75/month - once you’ve got your spot, you’re done! Spots fill up fast, but we will do our best to accommodate your request (sometimes it’s good to have a back-up spot that you want too). If a holiday occurs (like Thanksgiving on a Thursday) then your bill that month will be pro-rated and reduced for that month.
FAQs
Can I stay and watch?
We request that parents do not attend classes due to the small size of our studio and the needs of the teacher to focus on the kids’ learning and safety needs.
When should I drop them off and pick them up?
Because we run a tight schedule, we ask that parents drop their children at the start time of the class and pick them up an hour later.
How long are classes?
Classes are all one hour long.
What should my kid bring?
Students should wear comfortable, flexible clothing that covers their knees and shoulders (yoga pants and a t-shirt are great!) The clothes should also not have any zippers, buttons or parts that can get caught on apparatuses in the air.
We do have water at the studio, but it’s always a good idea to bring your own. We have water bottles for sale as well.
Do you offer a free trial class?
Due to our small class size and curriculum that builds on itself from week to week, we are not able to offer trial classes. Our kids’ classes often fill fast, but sometimes there are open slots in a couple classes. If those are available, we will post them on the regular schedule. Oftentimes the summer classes are a little less busy and those are excellent opportunities to try out the kids’ classes to see if your child likes it!
Do you offer make up classes?
We do our best to offer make up classes when we have to cancel for unexpected events, like instructor illness or snowdays. However, because our studio is small and we tend to run semesters back to back, we cannot offer make ups for classes students miss due to illnesses and schedule conflicts.
